Product Description
The Portable XRF Analyzer is a handheld elemental analysis instrument that utilizes X-ray Fluorescence technology to quickly detect the composition of materials. It works by exciting the sample with specific energy X-rays from an X-ray source, and then measuring the intensity of the characteristic X-ray fluorescence emitted.
The Portable XRF Analyzer mainly consists of an X-ray source, detector, signal processing system, and battery. The X-ray source emits X-rays that irradiate the surface of the sample, exciting the atoms within to produce characteristic X-ray fluorescence. The detector captures these characteristic X-rays and converts them into electrical signals. The signal processing system analyzes these electrical signals to calculate the content of each element in the sample.
Vanta™ handheld XRF analyzers can determine which elements are present in the material and can also obtain the percentage content of each element.
Olympus portable X-ray fluorescence spectrometers have been widely used in daily analysis in various fields such as geology, mining, metals, soil, environment, archaeology, oil, wood, electronics, medicine, environmental protection, beer, electricity, petrochemicals, toys, large-scale engineering, boiler manufacturing, recycling of renewable resources metals and glass, and criminal evidence identification. The analyzer also has a 1 GB micro SD™ card for storing results and two USB ports for easy data export.

The smartphone-like interface is easy to use, enabling you to operate it with minimal training required. The clear results, including the grade ID and specification comparison and the elemental composition, are displayed directly on the instrument’s screen. The software is customizable, so you can set it up to provide on-screen directions for pass/fail results or specific instructions.
